Hold on while I sort my hair... the boom of the guitars has actually just blown it all over the place. With adrenaline pumping drums, guitars that blows your mind, and lighting that would give a blind person an epileptic fit; We Will Rock You is the ultimate feel-good musical.

The year is 2300. A series of "manufactured" music has ruined the music industry, and caused globalisation where kids are all educated in the same way, download all the same music, and where instruments of any kind are banned. But there is hope, yet, as the legends of rock, Queen, seemingly appoint a leader - a hero, by the name of Galileo.

Any musical like this is going to cause some scepticism. I mean, after-all, how can a bunch of singer/actors seriously compare to the almighty gods of rock? Well, I was just on the phone to my cousin. He saw the opening performance, at which Brian May performed to promote his new album, and the audience went silent. Seeing We Will Rock You comes so so close to seeing Freddy himself blowing you all away - and not even Brian May could compare.

The music seriously gets your heart pumping. By the end of the show I was out of my seat, singing along, screaming my head off, and playing the air guitar. It would be perfectly acceptable to mistake the orchestra as Queen themselves, and the singers suit the parts perfectly.

With all the old favourites and a story-line that makes you smile and laugh, We Will Rock You is the new Grease in the way it will leave you smiling and leave you humming the tunes for days. The characters are uniquely loveable, the songs are amazing, and the atmosphere unbearably super-charged with electricity.

Whether you're a Queen lover, a theatre lover, a music lover, or somebody who just wants to get their ears smashed to bits - We Will Rock You cannot disappoint. Although I consider Les Miserables the best musical I have seen due to the way it moved me, We Will Rock You is actually perfect for anybody. There is not a single negative comment you can make it apart from a finale that didn't do the rest of the play justice.
